Johar Town police on Monday arrested a robber after an encounter while his accomplice escaped.
Police said two robbers were robbing citizens near a private hospital at Johar Town when police were alerted. When police reached the scene, the robbers opened firing on police. The fire was retaliated and one of the robbers was injured while the other escaped in cover of indiscriminate fire.
The injured robber, identified as Muhammad Anwar, has been shifted to hospital.
