LAHORE: Police arrested on Monday a tenant for allegedly kidnapping two minor sons of his landlord in Millat Park.
Iqbal Town Superintendent of Police Muhammad Iqbal told a press conference that Haseeb, 5, and Abdul Rehman, sons of Shahzad, went missing on Saturday.
The family and a special police team searched different places for the boys but in vain. Police then grilled Shahzad’s tenant Ziaur Rehman who soon confessed to kidnapping the boys. He said he had shifted one boy to Sahiwal and the other to Harappa.
Police rescued the children from Harappa and Sahiwal.
Police handed over the boys to their father and registered a case against Zia.
