LAHORE- Young police officers should prepare themselves to meet the security challenges of the present era by performing their duties with professional honesty and dignity, said Punjab Police Inspector General (IG) Javed Iqbal told 13 trainee assistant superintendents of police (ASPs) at the districts attachment ceremony held at the Punjab Police Headquarters on Monday.

The IG was hopeful that the new ASPs would focus on combating terrorism and curbing crimes by establishing friendly relations between the police and public.
