LAHORE–CCPO Ahmad Raza Tahir on Thursday directed the police to ensure proper checking of all types of heavy transport at the entry points of the City especially during the wee hours in order to make foolproof security arrangement for Juma.
According to the police spokesman, the CCPO said that there should be special checking for transport entering the City from 3:00 am to 6:00 am, as these hours are commonly considered as easy for subversive elements to move around and make a penetration in the City due to light deployment of police force at that time.
Ahmad Raza Tahir also directed that code of ethics, formulated with the help of various schools of thought, ought to be strictly implemented, according to which there is a strict ban on all provocative and hate-mongering speeches from the pulpit.
