LAHORE: Police arrested on Monday a gang of six members, including two women, for their alleged involvement in blackmailing citizens here on Monday.
According to a press release, a police team raided a house in Faisal Town’s T-Block and arrested ringleader Shaukat Ali and his five accomplices.
Police said that gangsters were involved in trapping aged men through women and then blackmailing them.
The gang was also involved in making nude movies of citizens with their women members. Later, they would extract money from them after getting fake rape cases registered against them in different police stations.
DIG Operations Rana Abdul Jabbar has announced prizes for the raiding team.
