LAHORE – Police on Wednesday claimed to have smashed a gang of robbers by arresting its three members including the ringleader.
According to an official handout, three members of Waqas alias Viki gang have been arrested by CIA Police Iqbal Town. A police spokesman said that the accused were involved in robbery, cash and bonds-snatching and street crimes incidents. The police also claimed that they also recovered Rs two million, four cell phones as well as illegal weapons from their possession. Further investigations are underway.
