Lahore: The chief traffic officer (CTO) has said that special traffic plan has been finalised for torch-bearer and Eid Miladun Nabi processions on January 13 and Jan 14, respectively.
According to the CTO, all roads will remain open for traffic during the events.
Two DSPs, six inspectors and 159 wardens will be deployed in various areas on the occasion of torch-bearers’ procession on January 13. Seven DSPs, 20 inspectors and 410 traffic wardens will be deployed to regulate traffic on the city roads on the occasion of Eid Milladun Nabi.
The CTO has directed the DSPs to deploy traffic wardens outside mosques on the busiest roads.
