Lahore: Khidmat Group of Hall Road traders donated 100 mega-phones to the City Traffic Police in a ceremony conducted at Traders Union office on Tuesday.
City Traffic Officer Tayyab Hafeez Cheema, SSP Sohail Sukhera, SP Traffic City Rana Shujat, Babar Mehmood, President Khidmat Group, and other traders were also present.
Addressing the occasion, CTO Tayyab Hafeez said the role of trader community in the improvement of city traffic police was commendable. He thanked traders for their generosity.
Office-bearers of Khidmat Group said that through these mega-phones, wardens would educate the public about the traffic laws and warn them against violations of zebra-crossing, traffic signal, stop-line, lane and line.
