LAHORE
THE Lahore Police on Friday arrested 13 suspects during their crackdown against anti-social elements in the wake of secret information of the intelligence agencies about the presence of terrorists in the city.
The Township Police arrested a member of a banned outfit named Rizwan Akbar Khan and extracted a sensitive information from him. He was involved in the cases of terrorism, a spokesman for Sadar police said.
Meanwhile, the Lahore Police conducted their search operations in Saggian, Iqbal Town, Shahdra, Lower Mall, Manawan, Data Darbar and Green Town areas to arrest suspects. The arrested suspects were shifted to some unknown place for interrogation.
