CCPO sends 94 SIs to investigation wing

LAHORE - CCPO Amin Wains has sent 94 sub-inspectors selected through Public Service Commission to investigation wing for further improving its performance and early submission of challans to courts, a press release said.
 
These sub-inspectors have completed the training from Suhala College.
 
Meanwhile, SSP Investigation Rana Ayyaz Saleem has issued orders for their appointment as Admin Officers investigation in various police stations.
 
Addressing a function held in this regard at Alhamra today, CCPO said that newly appointed sub-inspectors should be polite to the complainants coming to police stations for redressal of their grievances as police department is meant for solution of problems of the people and protection of life and property of citizens.
 
Addressing sub-inspectors, he said that they are being sent to investigation wing for investigation of cases on merit and improving the image of investigation wing.
 
He said that investigation officers should give a patient hearing to both the parties and uphold merit and trust in investigation.
 
He directed SSP Investigation Rana Ayaz Saleem to appoint these sub-inspectors as Admin Officers investigation in police stations.
 
He also approved provision of android phones and a monthly stipend of one thousand rupees for the Admin Officers Investigation and said that all out resources will be provided to admin officers operation and investigation for solution of people’s problems.
 
He stressed upon them to perform their duties with commitment and dedication and prove themselves worthy of their posts.
 
SSP Investigation Rana Ayaz Saleem while giving a briefing said that posting of young sub-inspectors in investigation wing will help in investigation of cases on modern lines as these sub-inspectors have adequate knowledge about latest technology.
 
DIG Operations Dr. Haider Ashraf said that new officers can earn respect from citizens through their performance.
SSP CIA Muhammad Umar Virk and DIG Investigation Sultan Chaudhry also spoke on the occasion and welcomed the newly appointed sub-inspectors.
