Investigation Police Sadar Division on Tuesday claimed to have arrested five alleged gangsters Sarwar alias Saru dacoit gang including its ringleader, and recovered four motorcycles, Rs75,000 10 tolas gold ornaments, three cellphones as well as illegal weapons from them.
According to a police spokesman, the arrested bandits had confessed to 26 cases of motorcycle stealing and street crimes during preliminary interrogation.
The arrested bandits were identified as Muhammad Sarwar alias Saru, Oman Ali alias Manu, Muhammad Naveed alias Nedu, Asif Masih and Muhammad Afzal.
