Police impound 6860 vehicles in 5 days

LAHORE: Lahore Chief Traffic Officer Sohail Chaudhry on Monday said that at least 6860 vehicles are impounded during the special campaign against underage drivers.  Last week, Lahore Traffic police launched clampdown on the underage drivers to stop and discourage the unlawful practice.
While talking to reporters on Monday, the CTO said that at least 6860 vehicles including motorcycles were impounded by the traffic police during action against underage drivers in the last five days in Lahore.

The traffic police are also directed to take stringent action against the underage drivers while senior officers are tasked to supervise the campaign.

The traffic police chief said that there would be zero-tolerance for under-driving.–Staff Reporter
