Cops showing good results being rewarded, says CCPO

LAHORE – Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Ahmad Raza Tahir has said that Lahore Police introduced an effective system of reward and punishment, according to which police officials showing good results were being provided with incentives whereas those displaying laziness were being dealt strictly.

During the hearing in his orderly room, the CCPO heard 44 appeals of police officials, out of which appeals of three Inspectors, two Sub-Inspectors, one Assistant Sub-Inspector, one head constable, nine constables and 24 traffic wardens were accepted whereas appeals of one inspector, two constables and one traffic warden were rejected.

Furthermore, the CCPO also announced waiver of punishment to constables and head constables from year 2006 to 2011 during a grand dinner in the honour of constables. Resultantly, 31 constables and head constables have been reinstated and a notification in this connection has been issued.
