LAHORE: DIG Operations has ordered SP Mobiles to give operational command of vehicles and patrolling officers of Mujahid Squad to divisional SPs Monday.
According to new order of DIG Operations, the SP Mobiles/Mujahid Squad will now only be responsible for managing Elite Force, for taking care of security duties at entry and exit points and for administrative affairs.
Sources said the decision has been taken to improve the performance of Mujahid Squad. It is pertinent to mention that the divisional SPs would now be able to take action against officials of Mujahid Squad directly and could keep check and balance of them directly.
