LAHORE: CIA Sadar Police claimed to have arrested 11 members of a gang allegedly involved in heinous crimes and recovered booty of worth thousands of rupees. DSP Nawankot said this while addressing a press conference here on Sunday. He said that arrested member of Muhammad Ali dacoit gang were involved in dacoity, house robbery, road robbery and accused also used to injure the innocent people by opening fire on them who put resistance during dacoity.
Those arrested included Muhammad Ali, Abdul Wahab, Aqeel, Ashraf alias Mama, Liaqat alias Bhatti, Adan alias Dani, Naeem, Iqbal alias Bali, Touqeer alias Mithoo, Safiq alias Kaka and Asif alias Assu, The police said that they recovered Rs. Five lacs cash, a tractor, Motorcycle, Mobile Phones, illegal weapons and other valuables.
