3 distilleries unearthed; 3 held

KABEERWALA-The police on Sunday claimed to have unearthed three distilleries and arrested three drug pushers during an operation against drug pusher here in at Mauza Mastt Pur.

While talking to media persons, Kabeerwala Saddar Police SHO Mahr Waseem Ahmed Sial disclosed that the police were tipped off about the activities of three drug pusher brothers - Ramzan, Shaban and Iqbal, resident of Mauza Mastt Pur on Jhang Road that they had been allegedly involved in production of liquor at their home.

He said that after getting arrest warrant from the court, the police raided their home on the special directions of the Khanewal DPO. Mahr Waseem disclosed that a police team led by DSP Muhammad Tanveer raided at Mouza Mastt Pur and unearthed three distilleries.

He further disclosed that the police had also arrested three drug pushers Ramzan, Shaban and Ahmed Sher while their other two partners managed to escape from the scene. The police also recovered 300 litres of liquor, 1,000 litre of Lahn and other chemicals from there.

The SHO further disclosed that the three drug pushers were real brothers and were wanted to police in 13 different cases since 1987. The Saddar Police have registered cases against them.
