GUJRANWALA, Aug 14: Police arrested more than 1,200 motorcyclists for antics on Independence Day and at least 25 motorcyclists injuries while doing wheeling on GT Road on Tuesday.
Civil Lines, City and Sadar division police had ordered a crackdown on motorcyclists doing wheeling on GT Road on the national day. Police teams set up pickets on GT Road, arrested troublemakers and impounded their motorcycles.
Motorway police also arrested several motorcycles and handed them over to district police for legal action.
