FIRs registered against Fafen chief

LAHORE: Lahore Police have registered FIRs in 14 police stations against the Chief Executive of Free and Fair Election Network (Fafen) on providing wrong information regarding election results. SSP Operations, Rana Abdul Jabbar, told reporter that cases have been registered against Fafen Chief Executive Mudassar Rizvi as he had reported rigging but it was not proved. He had pointed out 49 polling stations claiming that there was more than 100 per cent turnout there. However, he could not prove his claim. It is also worth mentioning here that a case was also registered against Rizvi on same charges in Rahim Yar Khan.
