4 children reunited

LAHORE–Punjab Highway Patrol claimed to have reunited four missing children to there heirs besides recovering 10 liters liquor from robbers.

The PHP team in Bahawalpur found three lost children namely Abida Parveen, 5, Umer Waleed, 8, and Jamat Ali, 7, near Adda Tail Wala. The PHP team traced out their parents and handed the children to their heirs.

In the same district, the PHP found a lost child namely Muhammad Abbasi, 10, near Moza Fattu Wali and handed him over to his uncle namely Noor Muhammad.

The PHP team Nawankot, district R Y Khan, stopped two suspects riding a motorcycle but they tried to flee away. After chasing PHP team arrested both of them and recovered 10 liters alcohol from their possession.

Three robbers held: Three robbers involved in more than 25 crimes have been arrested by Nishtar Colony police on Sunday. They were identified as Majid alias Majho, and his two accomplices namely Hamza and Jameel.

During preliminary interrogation, the accused confessed to their involvement in robbing batteries of mobile towers.

The operational police spokesman said the arrested accused have confessed of committing felony acts in Nishtar Colony, Kahna, Model Town, Kot Lakhpat, Factory Area, Green Town, Gulberg, Township, Faisal Town and etc. Police have also recovered batteries, gold ornaments, robbed motorbikes and illegal firearms from their possession.
