Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) arrested five kidnappers, recovered unlicensed firearms and stolen property.
According to the spokesman, PHP team Jahanian Shah, Sargodha, stopped a vehicle (No 99/RIP) and recovered one pistol (30 bore) from the possession of Muhammad Qasim and one pistol (30 bore) from Ghazanfar Abbas, Muhammad Imran, Hussain Haider, Muhammad Ishaq and a woman namely Faiz Batool.
Later, PHP team Ghumanwala, Gujranwala also recovered stolen cash amounted to Rs 29000/- from the possession of a suspicious person namely Akhtar Hussain.
Meanwhile, PHP team Sakaiser, Sargodha recovered one pistol (30 bore) from the possession of Muhammad Aslam, Sargodha whereas PHP team Marlay Chowk, Pakpattan, recovered one rifle (12 bore) from the possession of a suspicious person namely Shakeel Haider.
