LAHORE: Traffic police on chalked out a diversion plan in view of the construction work on Canal Road on Monday.
According to the Lahore CTO, the right side of Canal Road from The Mall to Jail Road Bridge would remain closed for the construction work.
He said that for maintaining the traffic flow on the roads, 99 wardens had been deputed at the diversion points of Canal Road. However, despite tall claims and statements by the City Traffic Police, a huge traffic mess was observed on The Mall, Jail Road, Davis Road and Ferozpur Road.
