The City Traffic Police took action against 83 vehicles for displaying green number plates and five vehicles for using revolving lights in 2013.
During the said period, the traffic police took action against 28,920 vehicles for having ‘applied for’ plates instead of number plates, 21,934 vehicles without number plates, 68,757 vehicles with improper number plates, 2918 vehicles for violating ban on pillion riding and 33,276 vehicles with tinted glasses.
