LAHORE - Security has been beefed up after a letter issued from National Crises Management Cell (NCMC) warned of the presence of terrorists in the city.

According to the NCMC letter, officials directed law enforcement agencies that terrorists had managed to establish a centre in K-Block of unknown location in the city where they were training individuals and were stocking weapons and suicide jackets.

Sources said Punjab IGP Javed Iqbal directed Lahore Police officials to tighten security upon receiving the NCMC letter.
