CCPO urges public-police cooperation

LAHORE: Capital City Police Officer retired Capt Amin Wains has said war on terror cannot be won without cooperation of the citizens.
 
Addressing a gathering in Model Town here on Thursday, the CCPO said cooperation between police and citizens was of utmost importance for rooting out the menace of terrorism and foiling the nefarious designs of anti-social elements.
 
He assured the people full support of police for purging society of the menace.
 
The CCPO said the citizens should responsibly inform the police about the presence of terrorists and other criminal elements in their neighborhood, if any, to maintain peace in society.
 
A large number of citizens from different walks of life participated in the meeting, besides Model Town SP Muhammad Baqar Raza, Investigation SP Dr Rizwan and president and members of Model Town society.
