Eid traffic plan for Murree devised

Rawalpindi - The city traffic police have announced plan to avoid traffic mess in Murree on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.The entry of motorcyclists involving in one-wheeling and other stunts has been banned in the hill station, informed CTP spokesman Wajid Satti yesterday.
 
During Eid days, he said, a total of 25 junior wardens, 229 warden officers, 8 inspectors and 5 DSPs would control the traffic flow at the hill station and would also facilitate the commuters and visitors. He said that as per traffic plan, the entry of heavy traffic would completely be banned in Murree from 07:00am to 01:00am. 
 
He informed that the buses and other heavy traffic would not be allowed to go ahead from Barori Chungi and Bansura Galli while the traffic approaching Kashmir could use Expressway to reach their destinations.Talking to media men, Senior Traffic Officer Iftikhar Hussain said that police have displayed banners and distributed pamphlets among the commuters to create awareness among the public regarding traffic plan.
