SADIQABAD-Sadiqabad Circle Assistant Superintendent of Police Tanveer Hussain arrested record 354 proclaimed offenders during the last three months and stands first in all the five circles’ ASPs in district Rahim Yar Khan.
Astonishingly, the total performance numbers of other four circles’ ASPs remained less than those of the Sadiqabad Circle’s. Thus, District Police Officer Sohail Zafar appreciated the toper’s performance.
However, the Sadiqabad ASP pledged to further improve his performance.
The circle gave the best performance during the period and arrested the huge number of POs. These proclaimed offenders are wanted in abduction for ransom, murder, dacoity, robbery and other cases of heinous crimes.
Moreover, the circle police sealed 67 liquor factories, seized 7,000 litters of hard drink and arrested dozens of drug pushers during the period. Meanwhile, 19 kilograms of charas, 380 kg opium among other prohibited substance were impounded and challans presented in courts.
The circle police also recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition from various members of criminal gangs.
Appreciating the ASP’s performance, the DPO congratulated him on his success. However, the former made a pledge to continue his efforts to give better performance in the days to come.
He also said that his top priority was to protect lives and property of the people and to decrease crime rate in the district.
