TOBA TEK SINGH: Police arrested one of the four dacoits with the help of a mobile phone data in Chak 54/1-GB Turka (Nawan Pind) in Kamalia on Sunday.
Police said four armed men barged into a house for robbery, but family members raised an alarm. At this, villagers gathered there and besieged the house, but the dacoits managed to escape leaving behind their car and mobile phones.
Police got retrieved the call data of mobile phones and took into custody suspected dacoit, Shamshir Ahmad, who was a driver of fire brigade in Kamalia TMA. Kamalia Sadder SHO Rana Azal said that other accomplices of the arrested dacoit would soon be arrested.
