Hotel manager arrested under NAP

Aug 26, 2015

RAWALPINDI: The manager of a local hotel was arrested for not intimating the police about the arrival of two Indian nationals in his hotel.

Babar Mumtaz, deputy superintendent of police DSP City Circle, said later the manager was sent to jail.

He said during a snap checking the police found the two Indian nationals, Mohammad Rafiq and Mohammad Ashraf staying in the hotel since August 20.

Though the guests were in possession of travel documents, the hotel manager could not inform the police about their stay, which is mandatory under the National Action plan.
