LAHORE – The Punjab Highway Patrol (PHP) claimed on Sunday to have recovered a snatched car, and arrested 11 people for possessing illegal firearms and narcotics.
The accused were identified as Muhammad Shareef, Muhammad Bilal, Tariq, Altaf Hussain, Irshad Ahmad, Khawar Abbas, Idrees Ahmad, Qasim, Muhammad Imran, Walayat Ali, Muhammad Khalid, Javed Akhter and Hasnain Aslam.
A car, pistols, live cartridges, bullets, narcotics and other stolen valuables were recovered from their possession. The arrested men have been handed over to the Investigation Wing of the district police for further action.
