SAHIWAL, Oct 03: Police smashed 14 gangs and arrested their 55 members in Sahiwal district in the month of September.
DPO Syed Khurram Ali told newsmen on Thursday the gangs were involved in street crimes, attempted murder, cattle lifting, robberies and dacoities in the districts of Pakpattan, Okara and Sahiwal.
He said the ring leaders of eight of the gangs were also captured during the operation.
