LAHORE: Township police on Thursday claimed to have smashed a gang of robbers by arresting its three members involved in dozens of armed robberies.
A police spokesman said that on the directions of Lahore DIG (Operations) Muhammad Tahir Rai special police teams were constituted to track down the criminals involved in street crimes in the provincial metropolis.
The Township police launched a crackdown and arrested three members of Billu dacoit Gang including the ringleader of the gang.
