Suspected terrorist arrested

RAWALPINDI, Nov 4: A suspected terrorist was arrested and a police uniform recovered from him along with military shoes and some bullets from his house in the jurisdiction of Race Course police on Monday.
 
Police sources said following the drone strike that killed Tehrik-i-Taliban leader Hakeemullah Mehsud, the police had started taking terror threats seriously.
 
The police are also considering seeking the help of the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab to investigate the suspect.
 
The suspect was taken into custody during a search operation. More than 400 residents of the area were questioned and 243 houses searched.
 
CPO Bilal Siddique Kamyana told Dawn that such operations would continue in the city. He also added that some uniforms and arms were found during the search but did not reveal further details. — Staff Reporter
