Faisalabad: Police have arrested 22 persons on violation of the elections code of conduct. According to the police, 949 persons had so far been booked in 23 cases registered across the district on violation of the elections code of conduct including display of weapons, fireworks, using loudspeakers and holding rallies without seeking prior permission.
Out of them, 22 persons had been arrested while raids are being made to arrest the remaining accused, they said.
