TAXILA: Police on Sunday claimed to have recovered explosives from the possession of five people who have been arrested in connection with the murder of a watchman on Thursday.
The police arrested the five persons, including their female accomplice, and nominated two of them - Kamran Khan and Tariq Khan – in the murder case.
During interrogation, the suspects confessed to storing the explosives in their den which the police raided and recovered.
The recovered items included 100 detonators, 10 explosives sticks and 23 metres wire. A separate case has been registered against them under the explosive act.
