BAHAWALPUR, Nov 7: Police claim to have arrested three people, including a woman, for allegedly abducting a six-year-old.
District Police Officer (DPO) Sohail Habib Tajik said in a press conference on Thursday that Gulshan Naheed, of Chishtian, Muhammad Ashiq, of Khanqah Sharif, and Aamir Husain, of Basti Karna, had allegedly abducted Ahmar Waheed, son of Abdul Waheed, from Bahawalpur on Oct 20.
Waheed ransomed his son for Rs500,000. The DPO said they had recovered Rs330,000 from the gang.
