RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi police on Tuesday arrested nine outlaws and recovered drugs, weapons and bottles of liquor from them.
According to police spokesman, Sadiqabad police arrested Abbas and recovered 1,060-gram charas. Waris Khan police arrested Mazhar and recovered 210-gram charas from his possession. Naseerabad police arrested Ameer Gul and Jhanzeb for selling illegal petrol and recovered 510-gram charas.
Ratta Amral police arrested Waheed and recovered five litre of liquor. Taxila police nabbed Mubassir and recovered one 30-bore pistol with four rounds. Waris Khan police arrested Shafqat and recovered one 32-bore pistol from him.
Chontra Police recovered one pistol 30 bore from Mudasir. Cantt police arrested Farooq and recovered one stolen Honda car. Cases have been registered against the accused and further investigation is underway.
