IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited Kasur, attended the funeral prayer of Shaheed ASI Muhammad Akram in Police Lines
During the encounter, one robber who martyred the police ASI was killed, while his brother arrested in injured condition.
ASI Muhammad Akram bravely fought the robbers and died in cross firing, spokesperson Punjab Police.
Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited Kasur and attended the funeral prayers of ASI Muhammad Akram Shaheed at Police Lines Kasur. RPO Sheikhupura Babar Sarfraz Alpa, DPO Kasur Tariq Aziz Sindhu, Session Judge Kasur, public representatives and personalities from civil society were also present in the funeral prayer. Active squad of the police saluted the body of the martyr. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, senior officers prayed for high ranks of police martyrs. IG Punjab said that ASI Muhammad Akram sacrificed his life in the line of duty, Punjab Police will never forget the eternal sacrifice of its brave son. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar also met the family and children of the martyr. IG Punjab assured all possible support to the family of the martyr. IG Punjab said that the Punjab Police will take all possible care of the needs of the family of ASI Muhammad Akram Shaheed. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar while paying tribute to the eternal sacrifice of ASI Muhammad Akram said that ASI Muhammad Akram bravely fought the robbers and died in cross firing.IG Punjab said that Punjab Police is the guardian force of more than 1600 brave martyrs like Muhammad Akram and best welfare of their families is among the top priorities of the department.
According to the details, another son of the Punjab Police, ASI Muhammad Akram, was martyred in the way of duty. In the area of Kasur Kanganpur area, the police party raided for the presence of dangerous robbers, then the robbers opened fire. ASI Muhammad Akram, who was injured in the firing, was shifted to DHQ Hospital Kasur, but he could not survive. After receiving information about the incident, DPO Kasur Tariq Aziz Sindhu and other police teams reached Kanganpur. DPO Kasur himself supervised the operation against the robbers. Under the leadership of DPO Kasur Tariq Aziz Sindhu, the operation against the robbers continued for 03 hours and the cross-firing continued for three hours, during the operation the dangerous dacoit Latif, who martyred ASI Muhammad Akram, was killed while Shafiq, the brother of the robber latif, has also been arrested in an injured condition. DPO Kasur Tariq Aziz Sindhu said that ASI Muhammad Akram Shaheed was a very honest, good-mannered and professional police officer. Muhammad Akram Shaheed's services to Kasur Police will always be remembered.
