According to the orders of the Chief Minister of Punjab, scope of the ongoing campaign for the protection of women " Never Again" (Ab Kabhi Nahi) should be expanded. IG Punjab.

Action should be taken immediately on the incidents of violence, harassment, acid attack, abuse against women, Dr. Usman Anwar.

Provision of driving training, licensing and policing facilities to women citizens should be ensured on priority basis, IG Punjab

Transgender children should be sent to Tahafuz Darsgah in Lahore for education and accommodation, IG Punjab

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar has said that according to the orders of the Chief Minister Punjab, scope of the ongoing campaign for the protection of women " Never Again"(Ab Kabhi Nahi) should expanded to whole province and police teams should take immediate action on incidents of violence, harassment, acid attacks, abuse against women. Dr. Usman Anwar directed that provision of driving training, licensing and policing facilities to female citizens should be ensured on a priority basis. IGP Punjab directed that Victim Support Officers should ensure full support of transgenders and victims and extension of employment of Victim Support Officers will be based on performance. Dr. Usman Anwar further said that the transgender children should be sent to Tahafuz Darsgah in Lahore for education and accommodation and priority measures should be taken to end the exploitation of transgender children. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar issued these instructions while presiding over a meeting held at the Central Police Office today.

DPOs, Victim Support Officers of all districts participated in the meeting through video link. CTO Lahore Amara Athar informed about the establishment of Women Police Council in the districts and its aims and objectives. ASP Syeda Shahrbano said that the scope of Tahaffuz Darsgah project is being expanded for the protection, education and training of children. DIG Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salah-ud-din and SSP Operation Ali Raza also expressed their views in the meeting. DIG Welfare Ghazi Muhammad Salahuddin, CTO Lahore Amara Athar, SSP Operation Ali Raza, AIG Welfare Amara Sherazi and other officers participated.
