Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar met the police employees and their families at the Central Police Office. IG Punjab heard the applications and requests submitted by the police employees and their families and issued instructions for relief. IG Punjab directed DPO Sheikhupura to provide relief on the request for issuance of salary of mechanic Saqlain Ali recruited on family claim. IGP Punjab directed the Additional IG Punjab to review and finalise the promotion request of Sub-Inspectors Umair Javed, Shahzeb Tariq and Zia-ul-Haq. IG Punjab sent the request to declare Head Constable Muhammad Qadir as Ghazi to DIG Welfare for decision. Dr. Usman Anwar directed the AIG Admin to take action on merit on 03 applications for recruitment on family claim including the son of Constable Ali Muhammad.
On the request of sub-inspector Abuzar Amjad to provide legal assistance, AIG Legal was ordered to provide assistance. Lady Trainee Sub-Inspector Kaynat Shahzadi’s request for provision of leave was forwarded to CCPO Lahore for providing relief. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar directed to provide relief with immediate action on the sent requests. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that the welfare of police employees is the first priority and in this regard priority measures to solve the problems of the employees will continue without interruption.
