Eid ul Fitar Prayer at district Police Lines Qila Gujar Singh:

 

Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at District Police Lines Qila Gujar Singh. Additional IG Punjab Sultan Ahmad Chaudhry, CPO Lahore Bilal Siddique Kamyana, Additional IG Raja Rafat, Additional IG CTD Waseem Syal, DIG Establishment One, Additional IGs, DIGs , retired and serving senior police officers, youths participated. DIG Investigation Zeeshan Asghar, DIG Operations Lahore Ali Nasir Rizvi, SSPs, SPs and other police officers participated. After the Eid al-Fitr prayer, special prayers were offered for national development, security and prosperity.

 

On this occasion, IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar saluted the Martyr Police Memorial, and recited fatiha for the souls of the martyrs. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar said that today we are breathing in the atmosphere of peace because of the endless sacrifices of the our brave martyrs. IG Punjab further said that security is on high alert throughout the province including the provincial capital on Eid-ul-Fitr. Punjab Police is providing full security to places of worship, sensitive installations and citizens. IG Punjab said that more than 52 thousand officers and officials of Punjab Police are performing security duties and atmosphere of peace and order will be maintained in any case.
