Chief Traffic Officer Tayyab Hafeez Cheema said it is a need of hour that young generation, especially students, should be aware of the traffic laws.
A delegation of students from a local university visited the CTO office and met with him. Tayyab Hafeez Cheema told the visiting students about the activities of the traffic police and said that traffic police are busy in providing the best travelling facilities to the public. Latest gadgets of international standard have been used for the continuation of traffic flow, he added.
The delegation requested the CTO to visit the university. They also requested for setting up a camp of Education and Licensing Unit at the university so that students can get awareness about the traffic rules.
