Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Muhammad Aslam Tareen has ordered comprehensive implementation of Shops and Security Act, along with ensuring legal action against the elements indulging in sale, purchase and use of stolen mobile phones.

The CCPO also directed Lahore Police to work with missionary zeal to protect life and property of citizens.

Muhammad Aslam Tareen said that on occasion of Juma congregations the code of ethics, formulated with the help of various schools of thought should be strictly implemented, according to which there was a strict ban on all provocative and hate-mongering speeches.

In his order, he also directed Lahore Police that the parking of all vehicles and motorcycles should be well away from important buildings, mosques and Imambargahs.

He directed that a comprehensive strategy should be ensured for maintenance of security on the occasion of Juma congregations.

Muhammad Aslam Tareen also appealed to the citizens to keep a watchful eye on their surroundings and, in case of suspicious activity, inform Emergency 15, immediately.
