LAHORE: DIG Operations Rai Muhammad Tahir paid a surprise visit to Ghalib Market and Johar Town police stations and suspended an ASI on not registering a case. ASI Sardar had not registered a kidnapping case for the last one week.
The DIG also listened to the complaints of citizens and ordered SHOs to address their issues immediately. He also warned the SHOs that if any of their subordinates was found negligent in registering FIRs, action would be taken against the SHOs.
