RAWALPINDI - During its ongoing campaign against anti-social elements, the local police have arrested 18 drug peddlers, gamblers and illegal arms holders from various localities of the city.
The police also recovered 10 bottles of liquor, 350 grams of Charas, 5 pistols of 30 bore with 18 bullets, Rs 6210 and 7 mobile phones that were put on stake, informed the police spokesman adding that cases have been registered against the accused while the police were also interrogating the detainees.
According to him, the Police Station (PS) Pirwadhai overturned a gambling bid apprehending Kamran, Saqib, Imran, Nasir, Abid, Asif and Naseer and recovering Rs 6210 cash and 7 mobile phones that were put on stake.
