City traffic police have launched three new mobile learner’s permit vans to facilitate citizens. The vans will issue learner’s permits to citizens at colleges, universities, offices and private departments besides bus stands and public places from Monday.
In the evenings, the city traffic police and the excise and taxation department would issue learner’s permits to the applicants besides taking action against the vehicles without number plates, registration and token tax. The teams under the supervision of DSPs will work at six places of the city, including The Mall, Barkat Market and Liberty Market.
