Martyred cops’ families rewarded

FAISALABAD-Two children of every martyred police official will be recruited in the Police Department, said CPO Bilal Saddique Kamyana.

Addressing a ceremony held in commemoration of martyred police officials on the Pakistan Day at Police Lines on Friday, he said that families of every martyred police official would also be given lump sum compensation of Rs 2 million. He said that policemen were sacrificing their lives for security of the people and combating with criminals to restore peace in the region. He asked the police officials to be more polite and courteous with citizens. He said that the police officials were public servants and they should properly behave with the people.

Later, the CPO gave away prizes and bouquets to widows and family members of the martyred police officials. He thanked the IPLC, the Anjuman-e-Tajran, the CPLC and trade bodies for extending their cooperation to make the event a success.

MIANWALI: A ceremony was organized to distribute cash prizes and certificates among 31 widows, sons and parents of martyred policemen at Police Lines on Friday. Speaking on the occasion, DPO Zubair Dareshek said policemen do not hesitate to sacrifice their lives while arresting the outlaws.

TOBA TEK SINGH: DPO Ahsan Younis has said that the families of martyred policemen will be looked after and they will be given extraordinary respect. While addressing a function held in connection with the Pak-Day at the Police Lines on Friday, the DPO paid tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Movement. Later, he presented gifts to the children and family members of martyred cops.

JHELUM: DPO Tayyab Hafeez Cheema on Friday distributed cheques among the widows of martyred cops on the Pakistan Day here. The ceremony was organized at the Police Lines while the DPO also hoisted the national flag. The DPO asked the widows and families of martyrs to inform him regarding their problems for their early solutions.

PAKPATTAN: DPO Jahanzeb Nazeer distributed cash prizes of Rs 7,000 each among heirs of 10 martyred cops. The DPO also gave Rs 3 million to the widow of martyred police constable Falk Sher. He also gave appointment letter of a job to the son of martyred cop Muhammad Sharif.
