SIALKOT: Police rescued a man, who had just landed in Sialkot from the UK, from his captors on Tuesday within four hours he was abducted.
District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Abid Jan told reporters police with the help of a security agency traced the kidnappers and rescued Bashir Husain Shah from them near Sheikhupura.
Police also arrested Mukhtar Ahmed and Ehsan Afzal who kidnapped Mr Shah for ransom from near his house in Bharath in Sialkot Cantonment soon after his arrival in Pakistan.
Police sent the alleged captors behind bars after registering a case. The DPO announced cash prize and appreciation certificates for the raiding police party.
