Inspector General of Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera has said that action against terrorists, anti-social elements and their facilitators will continue till peace is completely maintained in the province. He said that both of the CIA officials embraced martyrdom while fighting against robbers and anti-social elements. Police has always fought bravely against criminals within society and all of culprits have got their just deserts who were previously involved in unfortunate incidents of attacks on police officials during duty. Rule of law will be kept maintained by also arresting perpetrators involved in unfortunate incident of attack on police officials in Tibi City soon.
While remembering police martyrs, IGP said that martyrs have given message to criminal elements of society that Jawans of this nation will not hesitate to even sacrifice their lives to protect honor, life and property of citizens. IGP stated this today at Police Lines Qila Gujjar Singh while talking to media representatives after funeral prayer of CIA police constable Rizwanullah who had been martyred by firing of robbers and street criminals in Tibi City area two days ago.
CCPO Lahore, Capt. (R) Muhammad Amin Wains, DIG Operations Dr. Haider Ashraf, DIG Investigation, Chuadhary Sultan, DIG Security, Dr. Moeen, SSP Admin, Rana Ayyaz Saleem, SSP Investigation Ghulam Mubashir Maikan, ASPs and families of martyrs were also present at the funeral prayer. An active squad of police officials presented Salami to the martyr and police officers laid the wreath on martyr’s grave.
Rizwanullah joined police force as constable on October 15, 2010 and belonged to Chak Jhumra area of Faisalabad. His last deployment was at CIA civil line. He has left father, wife, three brothers and one sister as heirs.
