Vehari police has established “Falcon Force” on pattern of Dolphin Force

As per directions of Inspector General of the Police Punjab, Mushtaq Ahmad Sukhera to deploy motorcycle squads in field to make patrolling system more effective in all districts of Punjab, Vehari police has established “Falcon Force” on pattern of Dolphin Force to protect honor, lives and property of citizens by curbing street crimes. The objectives of Falcon Force are to respond immediately in case of emergency to prevent street crimes and to protect citizens from activities of criminal elements.  In initial phase, Falcon squads comprised of 120 police officials and 30 motorcycles are active to control criminals and to patrol on important routes of district. This was stated by District Police Officer Vehari, Omar Saeed Malik while addressing the police officials during launching ceremony of Falcon Force held at DPO Vehari Office.
District Police Officer Vehari, Omar Saeed Malik further said that the purpose of establishing Falcon Force is to maintain law and order in the district, to control anti-social elements and to promote friendly policing by helping citizens during patrolling. He further shared that the officials deployed with Falcon Force are trained by Elite Police Trainers regarding security of VIPs, banks, educational institutes, mosques, imam bargahs and churches. The officials are also trained about self defense, helping citizens in case of accident or fire and to check suspicious persons and vehicles, vigilance of bus terminals and inns. Only officials who are courteous, hard working, smart, well built and know the tactics of public handling are selected to serve in Falcon Force. All officials of the force are equipped with latest arms, motorcycles and wireless sets. The objective of this force is not only to close in on criminal elements but also to promote sense of protection among citizens.
