IT improves police service:IG

LAHORE: Inspector General Police Punjab Captain(R) Arif Nawaz Khan has said that the working of Punjab Police is improving day by day after the induction of Computer Technology in police department.

He also said that the graph of crime terrorism incidents was falling gradually and security situation in Punjab was much better as compare to other provinces.
He expressed these views while talking to a two-member delegation of French Embassy.

The delegation was led by Deputy Police Attache, Frantz NEAU and the other member of the delaion is attaché de Security Interieure, Didier VINOLAS. Matter of mutual interests was discussed in the meeting.

Delegation visited the different I.T. Projects in Central Police Office including 8787 Complaint Management System, Front Desk Centralized Monitoring System, HRMS Monitoring and Control Room etc.

While appreciating the IT Projects of Punjab Police Mr. Frantz NEAU has said that community policing was not possible in this age without adopting I.T technology. He also appreciated the efforts and sacrifices of Punjab police during the war against terrorism.
